Palmhouse? or the greenhouses and gardens at Calderstones...

I'd like to propose a drawing day involving botanical subject matter, I have been inspired by Elizabeth Blackadder's prints. Anyone know of a good place to do this?

Here's an unrelated image of mine

My First Blog

As this is my first contribution to the blog I would just like to say a big thanks to Emma Gregory and my Six Fellow illustrators. I have throughly enjoyed being part of this group and I feel we have managed to produce some fantastic pieces of work. I am very much looking forward to fridays exhibition at Editions, I would also like to thank Olwen and Steve for getting are work hung for the show. I hope this will be the first of many exhibitions for the Liverpool illustrators.

Regards

Keiron Finnetty
Hi All, This is from Emma:

If anyone wants to join Emma Gregory in the Print Studio at the Bluecoat on Monday morning 20 July at 10am she will be demonstrating the registration of more than one relief block to create a multicoloured lino print. She will show how to offset a key stencil onto a second block for cutting and how to print 2 blocks in quick succession using the Kento method. This is part of the Skills Share project. For more details please chat with Emma.
